They played surprisingly well. Is Bayern back to the good old bad days? Winning the Bundesliga in 2000/2001 with more than its fair share of luck in the 11th hour, for example. Ottl as the new Effenberg, anyone? I jest, I jest!

Bayern are making hard work of things and are definitely short of some 'world class', however you care to define that. But they showed a huge amount of heart in keeping up with Milan and just came back from one down to beat Hannover, so why not?
They will be buying a lot of new players in the summer though.
